The weather defied the poor forecast at the weekend which meant all hands on deck to prepare the holiday let garden now that we are only a few weeks away from being open for bookings!! I love this time of year in the Vale of Belvoir. The countryside looks at its most colourful and particularly so when driving towards our village of Langar. There’s no let up in our corner of Langar at the moment! The holiday let cottage build is progressing at a fast pace and we are only a few weeks away from being able to open our doors to the public. We really enjoyed having the Belvoir half marathon run past the end our track yesterday. Congratulations to all the runners. Great to have this event run through Langar and on our doorstep. Next year you could make a weekend of it; be part of the event and stay at our cottage!

We collected 5 new rescue hens at the weekend. The girls are already settling in with our other chickens, enjoying their new found freedom, and even laying some delicious eggs for us already!
