Info COVID 19

Social Distancing – our rural cottage is located in a friendly village location and with its own private grounds, parking and access to our wildflower meadow. There are no communal facilities to share with other guests.

Hygiene & Cleanliness – the health of our guests is of the utmost importance to us. Cleaning is carried out by the Owners, not outsourced to an external cleaning team. Reinforced cleaning by disinfection of all surfaces that will be in contact with our guests, after a systematic ventilation of the cottage. Products rated to the necessary standards will be used within the Cottage to ensure cleaning guidelines are met. Hand sanitiser will be left available on entry into the cottage for your use during your stay. Please do not take the sanitiser out of the cottage.

Minimising the risk – during these unprecedented times self check in is available. We ask that all our guests to strip all bedding and place in the large black bin liner provided. All bedding, including mattress protectors and pillow protectors, will be washed on a high temperature wash between guest stays. Guests are also invited to bring their own pillows should they prefer to do so. Many thanks for your assistance with this request. If you wish to supply your own towels and bed linen this can be discussed prior to your arrival.

In the event of illness – Before arrival: we ask guests not to continue with their journey if they or any members of their booking group have symptoms of Covid 19. Please ensure you follow all Government guidance on travel if you are unwell and notify us as soon as possible of any illness. During your stay: If you are unwell during your stay please notify us and we would ask that you return to your main residence in line with Government guidance. We ask to be informed if anyone in the booking group becomes unwell or has a positive test for Covid 19 during or within 14 days after their stay,
