The Cottage

Perfect for couples or small families the cottage has been furnished with a mixture of lovingly-chosen vintage finds and the luxury of modern conveniences. It comprises 2 bedrooms, both of which are en-suite. The master bedroom has a super comfy king size bed with 3000 pocket sprung mattress and en-suite walk in travertine tiled shower room.

The second bedroom has zip link beds offering a choice of two single beds or a super king-size bed. This bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and shower-head over the bath. Both of the en-suite bathrooms have heated towel rails.

In the living/dining area the flat screen TV includes freeview channels and wifi, there’s a pile of Interiors magazines, a DVD library, some books, OS maps and suggetions for days out, while you relax in the comfortable open plan living area.

The kitchen is light and airy with its velux roof light and is well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine, a Lavazza coffee machine, as well as stunning traditional features such as the belfast sink and the stripped pine breakfast bench. The spacious living and dining area has views over the private garden. The wood burning stove is perfect for spending cosy evenings in watching a film by the fire, and to put your feet up after a walk through the Vale of Belvoir.

Private parking for up to 3 cars is adjacent to the cottage and a south facing patio and garden allows you to enjoy the outdoor space when you return to your retreat.

We offer secure bike storage for those of you who would want to explore some of the routes and trails around the Vale of Belvoir. There is also an outside tap to hose down bikes or footwear if needed.

Accessibilty – the accommodation is all laid out on one floor making this ideal for families with young children (no stairs!) and those with mobility issues.

Please note the cottage is no smoking throughout. Sorry, we do not accept pets but there is a boarding kennel and cattery less than 5 minutes drive from the cottage.

Note: The owners’ farmhouse next door is no longer a working farm but we do recommend that you pack some wellies or walking boots in case the weather demands it as the cottage is situated down a short private track.
