We enjoyed exploring the area and loved Lincoln (by train), so many interesting town walks to do; Nottingham (by train) especially the Lace Market area; Southwell – the Minster and the Workhouse which was fascinating; Attenborough Nature Reserve where we chased a Cetti’s Warbler but never got to see it (heard it) and Belvoir Castle. Thanks to Ruth for eggs, flowers, cakes and a peaceful stay.
