I love this time of year in the Vale of Belvoir. The countryside looks at its most colourful and particularly so when driving towards our village of Langar. The oil seed rape fields are a scorching yellow colour and tucked behind them is the beautiful burnt orange building belonging to Langar Hall. The spring lambs have arrived in the fields approaching the village and can be heard from the garden of the holiday let.
There is so much to do at this time of year. Out on the quiet lanes around us yesterday there were scores of cyclists on the road, all giving a cheery nod or greeting to each other. The parachutes were aplenty too from nearby Langar airfield…who needs to go anywhere else!
